Attention is a new work by Pamela Z commissioned by Del Sol String Quartet. Composed for string quartet, fixed media (video and multi-channel sound), voices, and mobile phones, the work explores the ways in which attention and focus are challenged in today’s culture.

Attention was premiered Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Exploratorium's Kanbar Forum in San Francisco, presented by the Exploratorium’s Cinema Arts program, and was supported by a grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission.
