The Del Sol Performing Arts Organization (DSPAO) sponsors the Del Sol String Quartet's public concert performances, educational and community outreach programs, commissioning of new works, and recordings. The DSPAO's specific mission is to heighten the public's awareness and understanding of chamber music and increase the accessibility of this art form, with a focus on contemporary music. A copy of DSPAO’s annual report is available upon request.

A board of directors oversees the DSPAO's governance and operations. The DSPAO is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization funded by individual donors, businesses, governmental entities, and foundations.
