Mason Music is a new musical experience presented by the Del Sol Quartet in the intimacy of a private art studio at the historic Fort Mason. Come sample handcrafted, curated music that include a variety of musical artisans. What does local music sound like? Who are our craftsman composers?
In November’s Experimental Roots – music starting from Ruth Crawford Seeger, we explore Crawford Seeger’s astoundingly inventive String Quartet, 1931 along with music by Gabriela Lena Frank, James Tenney, Ben Johnston, and Huang Ruo.
$25 ticket price. includes food and drink. Doors open at 3:30, music starts at 4PM.
